Radisson Hotel Ames Conference Center at ISU

We have stayed at this hotel twice in the last couple months. The first time wasnt horrible. Bathroom tile was cracked badly and the counter was in bad shape. It was a good price. But this past weekend we stayed there and our first room was not clean, there was food on the floor that was swarmed by ants. The second room they gave us was already occupied. The third room was ok, but the carpets were sticky and stained and the heating/cooling unit was unplugged and the comforter had stains on it. Tub did not drain properly and the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. When I went to get into bed the carpet near the window was wet so I had to lay a towel over it to get in and out of bed. We will never stay there again.

Great weekend experience! Our host was kind and welcoming. The hotel includes a swanky pool and a nice workout room. There are many areas to hang out, and a board for work conferences. Rooms were nice overall, with two beds and a pullout couch. There was a bathroom with a toilet and bath/shower, and an outside sink. Breakfast was very enjoyable! Good stay!

They don't have soap and they tell you to use shampoo. I asked for a late check out time since I'm checking in late and the woman said I could stay until 2:00 p.m. but then they try walking in on me at 12:15 in the afternoon without knocking and then I guess like the manager came back and was like aggressively telling me like the latest I could to stay was 1:00 p.m. a very unprofessional and I will not be back. Not all the outlets work and the phone doesn't work because when the first person tried like getting in without even knocking I tried calling the front desk but I couldn't even use a phone. Just very poor quality and very poor customer service
