Take my dogs here a lot. The trail itself isn't terribly long, but the surrounding park is plenty big for some extra excursions.

Its a nice, main walking path thats very wide and longer than I expected. It passes through dense trees, and I imagine it would be very pretty in the Fall. This trail is connected to Brookside Park, which has bathroom facilities and parking, so thats a plus. I just discovered this place today and enjoyed walking there. I passed by several people walking their dogs, so its a nice place for that, as well.

Fantastic trail that goes through some gorgeous places, definitely visit in fall. There are numerous dirt trails going in every direction off the side of the trail for some fun hikes, also a great big fallen log over the Ioway creek if you're feeling adventurous! The streetlights hanging over the trail are very nice and it's a totally different experience at night than at day, and Brookside is a great place to be on the lookout for wildlife (I have seen deer, owls, raccoons and red foxes in walks here). One star docked because it gets kinda loud with the railroad nearby...
