Awesome company! They fixed my solar system that was installed by another company when I couldn't get the other company to answer my calls. I then had them install solar at my house and everything went flawlessly Great job. If I could leave a higher star rating I deffinately would!

Update: I have upgraded from 1 star to 2 stars because our panels are now connected (as of the end of January 2023) and they are functioning well. We still wish there had been more transparency about the delays along the way. We met with several solar companies to discuss installation on a new build home in May of 2022. Although the bid was higher, we chose 1 Source Solar because we preferred to support an Iowa company and because the salesman assured us that there would be plenty of time to have everything in order so that we could get them installed immediately after closing. Communication from our salesman was poor after our initial inquiry, which should have been a red flag. The salesman continuously pushed us off and delayed getting us our initial contract because our home wasnt set to be completed until September, and he assured us we didnt need to be in such a rush. After we closed on our home, it took a month and several e-mails before 1 Source installed our panels. Another month has since passed, and while we now have panels on our roof, 1 Source has not sent an electrician to finish the hook up process. They did, however, send the invoice promptly. When I reached out, I was given a vague answer and told sometime in the next few weeks the electrician will come, and then it will take another 4-6 weeks for MidAmerican to finalize our hook up. At this point, we will be lucky if everything is set up by the end of January, 4 months after we closed on our house. We are disappointed in the lack of transparency.
