This bank is awful. Their App barely works and will occasionally - and seemingly randomly - not deposit a check. The second time this happened, it caused an overdraft of a few dollars. My credit card company screwed up and took two payments at once from my account with Bank Iowa. The bank declined the first duplicate charge and charged me $30, then a day later my CC retried the charge and Bank Iowa allowed the overdraft of a slightly higher amount than the first attempt, and charged another $30. That put my account negative, and caused four additional overdraft charges in a few days. I sent a series of emails to Mollie Woltz, who didn't even take the time to read what I said, and I had to explain several times. After I called her out on that by telling her to read my previous email, she told me email didn't seem to be a good method of communication and told me to call. After waiting on hold for 14 minutes, she was rude and snarky, blaming me for not constantly checking my account since their app had failed to work once before and I knew it was a problem. These crooks ultimately charged me $180 for their app failing to do one of the two things that it is capable of.
