My Mom "graduated" from Gateway's hospice care, thanks, in part, to the care she received from the Gateway team. We found them to be very helpful with regard to the hospice journey. Early referral has a lot to do with the successful outcome. Hospice care isn't "giving up" it's enjoying the rest of your life with the ones you love.

The nurse we had for my grandma was okay. My biggest reason for a low review is because after she would check my grandma's vials, she would watch sports on her phone while sitting in the chair. Like with the volume on which was super annoying. When my grandma passed, she came out to pronounce her and called the funeral home. Then she sat down and said "bear with me, I'm going to watch some basketball" and proceeded to watch a basketball game on her phone while we were trying to grieve. I felt like we were bothering her while we were trying to grieve. It seemed super unprofessional to me and had me extremely frustrated during a very emotional time.
