        Where do I begin? Not only did Brooklyn do a great job on my cut and color, but Libby completely blew us away last night for our sons first haircut. He has textured, dense, long curly hair with a major shelf. It wasnt a simple cut at all. It took awhile. She was so knowledgeable about the types of curls he has, dry brushing before cutting, a special cutting technique to ensure his hair looked natural and healthy rather than choppy, the care of textured, mixed hair and so much more. She went above and beyond to ensure we were OK with what she was doing every step of the way, educating us about his type of hair and how we can maintain it better at home. The appointment ran long until past closing time, but we were never rushed at all. Also, her leadership with her younger stylist was amazing as she took it as a teachable moment due to the complexity of my sons hair. The salon is cozy, cute and clean. I highly recommend both Brooklyn and Libby as your next stylist.

        Hours state they're open till 8, yet when I walked in at 6:15,I was told that the stylists were finishing their last two appointments for the night and couldn't be seen Your camera must be wrong because I was home in madrid by 6:40. I could not accept an appointment on a different day because I was out of town. It's good to know that when disappointed potential customers are honest about their experiences they then are essentially called a liar. Thank you and have a good day.

        I just moved to Iowa about 2 weeks ago and have had issues when I have moved in the past with finding a new hair stylist. This was not the case this time! I had an appointment with Maddie and she did an AMAZING job!! She told me she has only been doing hair for a short period of time, but that had zero impact on the quality of her work. She was super friendly and made sure I was comfortable with as well as knew what she was doing. I will definitely be going back when it's time for a touch-up! Thank you Maddie!

      Hi. While We love honest reviews, there is more to this and this review isn’t what I would classify as “honest” because it doesn’t give the full story. Not all stylists in our salon work open to close every day (which would be 11-12 hour days Tue-Wed-Thurs) and at the time you walked in with your child (according to cameras) was closer to 7 pm. There were two stylists still working on other clients in the salon who had pre-booked color appointments. They cannot step away from those clients for walk ins. One of the two stylists that were working that Thursday night was, in fact in the salon until 9 pm with their guest, the other until 7:59. While we do accept walk in clients, it’s only if someone is available. No where does it state that we are readily available for walk-ins.A third stylists, who also regularly works until 8 pm that night had a family emergency that took her away from work, and would normally be booked solid. Had someone been available, I know they would have been very accommodating.I believed you were offered appointment times for the following day and declined.
