        This was our first time to eat at Daveys. We were given a gift certificate from friends, so we were excited to try this place out. The food was outstanding - my husband had a brisket sandwich and I had a Philly brisket sandwich. Both sandwiches were amazing - tender and full of flavor. Our two sides were great - coleslaw was awesome and the cornbread casserole could be a meal in it own. We will be back. Oh, great service, too!

        This place is so consistently good. I live in KC, have lived in North Carolina, and spent a lot of time in Texas for work so have tried some pretty good BBQ. I try to make this a priority every time my wife and I are in town seeing my folks. I've had brisket, pork, prime rib, and those unbelievably good stuffed jalapenos.
