        Have purchased several appliances from Star Appliance before with no issues. I just purchased a new dishwasher to replace a unit that lasted only four years. In less a month, three weeks to be exact, this new GE dishwasher quit working and kept giving different error codes. I called for service on a Thursday, and had to wait until Monday for a service call. When technician came out, he looked the unit over and his diagnosis was a bad control board. He suggested the company replace the dishwasher as he was unsure of how long a new control panel would take to get here. I was told the person in the office who manages the service would be in after 1. I called and my call went to a recording. No response back. I called near the end of the day to find out what was happening Same thing, right to a recording machine. I called again the next morning. Had to leave another message! I have paid a lot of money for a dishwasher that doesn't work and have not heard anything from Star Appliance to address my problem. My next appliance will be purchased from a company with better service!!!

        Bought a washing machine from them 6 month ago. It stopped working so we had a service man come out to tell us what was wrong. He never put the OHM tester on it, yet he told management that he did! My husband stood right there and watched him the whole time.We really liked the place until we met the service man Berry! He was rude in the phone and rude when he got here! He was rough with machine, and her crimped the hose. It wouldn't have worked when he left anyway. $120.00 service call for nothing!

        If you think that you can get the same appliance from a box store - you can't! It may look like it and operate like it - but it won't last like it. That is why I always buy my appliances from a local appliance store. I never had a bad experience using a local appliance provider in the past - but the service & professionalism that I experienced using Star Appliance was unexpectedly over-the-top. I was so impressed from the purchase to the install. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. I HIGHLY recommend Star Appliance!

      Same thing, right to a recording machine. I called again the next morning. Had to leave another message!       Good Morning, Our records do indicate that we did begin to receive your calls at 8:30a on Friday 3/15/24 then again at 9:30a and 9:45a. Our records also show that your call was returned at 10:30a 3/15/24, at this time you were scheduled for Monday 3/18/24 as we do not have the ability to service appliances on the weekends. At the time of the appointment Monday 3/18/24 it was communicated to the technician that the following day, Tuesday 3/19/24 would work better. Though we are and have been fully booked this week as a valued customer we did add your call on to accommodate your request and service you as quickly as possible. According to the technician's notes it was communicated to you that due to the manager Shianna being out of the office Tuesday 3/19/24 due to a family emergency. Your return call back for a resolution to your issue would be today Wednesday 3/20, no specific time listed. We attempt to go above and beyond for all our customers and give customer service with complete follow through, this does require patience from both the customers and ourselves as we do not enjoy hearing that you have any issues with our products.
