Extremely unprofessional and mismanaged company. Does not give notice before laying off employees. Owner and Management based in Minnesota, not Marion, Iowa. Would not trust them with my home.

We discovered our finished basement flooded due to a sump pump failure around noon on Friday. My husband was leaving on business and I'm disabled, so I was worried about what to do. Other services said they couldn't get to our house for two weeks, but Matt from Restoration24 made it from Marion to Cedar Falls in 2 hrs. He was polite, respectful, and thoughtful about taking care of our belongings. He explained everything, gave me a quote, and went to work. He stayed past 6 pm on a Friday evening removing carpet and base boards, and setting up fans and dehumidifiers. By Monday afternoon the floors and walls were dry. Matt cleaned up after himself, was kind to our dog who was terrified by the noise, and made me feel confident about the health and safety of our home again. They also finished the job for less than their original quote. I highly recommend Restoration24.

One person came and started immediately drying carpet that was going to be pulled out while my husband and I carried all the wet things up stairs by ourselves trying to save what we could. There was no offer to remove items at any time. We then had to help him bring in the equipment which was very heavy. He walked across our laminate flooring and rugsrugs with shoes on tracking all the water and mud and bacteria through our home. We asked if a dumpster would be provided and they said no. It wasn't until after we called the team lead that one was offered. It took 5 days to finish the job and there is still drywall that is wet that was not removed. We will not have the dumpster until day 7 so all off our wet furniture and belongings are still in our back yard. The equipment they brought kept blowing all of our breakers and the wires were hot. It brought the temperature of our home to 89 with the air running constantly. They did show up quickly and came when they said they would each day. The guy that came was very nice. With that said it was still one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I do not recommend using this company ever.

My experience with the Marion Restoration Pro 24 crew was awesome. They scheduled for the morning after our conversation and when there was an issue, showed up the next day instead. The 2 man crew who cleaned the basement were great, especially since they had to remove some very heavy pieces before starting. My questions were answered and communication was mostly strait forward. I would recommend them to someone who needed their services.

My basement flooded from the upstairs. Water was everywhere and seeping from the ceiling. I called Restoration Pro and they were there almost immediately. They came in and did a survey of the home and set their equipment and went above and beyond with our needs. Punctual and courteous! Hopefully, we won't need to call them again but if another disaster happens we will be. Thank you Matt for your help and professionalism and fixing my home.
