Oh, look, 4 weeks later SAME PROBLEM!!!! And this time it's my fault because I didn't call it in 24 hours in advance? Jokes on them...I did....even though it's not a requirement. I just went to pick it up when they said it would be ready because it was more convenient than coming on Christmas Eve. This time...I got livid. And this time, I got called all sorts of names from other customers because I've absolutely had it with how difficult it is to fill here. How they're capable of failing 2 a month every single time is almost impressive. If I didn't have refills sent here before knowing the problems here, I definitely would not step foot here ever again. The snide comments I got from the staff was laughable seeing as they take zero accountability. Funny thing is...yall are messing with my crazy meds. Well now you've messed around enough that ya found out why I take them.

You can send in your prescription or refill a full week in advance and you will still have to verbally argue with them to get the medication you or your insurance is paying for. A pharmacist outright told me that techs are trained to say "it'll be here tomorrow" no matter what. Hy-Vee uses central filling. They have no idea when it'll be there, is my guess. The other excuse you'll get is "we're experiencing shortages". You can actually look up shortages on the FDA's website. Guess how many times there's a real shortage. Before I moved my prescriptions elsewhere, the tally was still zero. The biggest gripe I have with this place is they will talk to you like you are a complete fool for just wanting your medications before you run out. Like you are the unreasonable one. My wife had the same experience, and her medications are much more important to her continued life on this blue marble than mine are. You'll start off polite, because that's how you were raised. Then when you notice that the information they tell you doesn't make sense, your politeness gives away to shortness, and eventually on your third time there, you're already upset before you even step in the door. I'm a lifelong midwesterner. I hate that feeling. I bet you do too. Just take your medications elsewhere.

Every time we go here there is an issue and horrible attitudes. They will ALWAYS try to push off prescriptions until the following day. This is our 4th time trying to fill a medication that I have seizures if I'm late on (even by an hour). It's always a fight to get anything filled. A fight for timeliness, a fight to bite my tongue with their attitudes, a fight for them to get my husbands name right, etc. I also understand today is the day after a holiday but the amount of attitude I got for needing something filled today was disgusting. I had to postpone my trip home to Arkansas 2 days waiting for them to open because I couldn't go without my meds. 1st she said it would be ready tomorrow. When I said I really needed them today she said 4:30 and when I asked why it would be such a delay she sighed and gave me the worst attitude about it being the day after the holiday. I explained that my family's holiday was relying on this to be able to go home and she got really mad and said 2 hours. We will be looking for a different pharmacy.

Our family shops at HyVee Drug daily because of its convenient location to our home. The store manager is very friendly. Today I encountered the assistant manager when asking about the pricing of an item, and was very disappointed how rude she acted towards me. As a regular customer to this specific location, friendly customer service would be appreciated.

This place needs new management. Some of the staff are downright angry and it shows. Heres my week long process to find out they either were flat out wrong or, worse, lied to me. I suspect it was the latter. My provider prescribed 90 pills. No communication from store that they were ready and I was nearby so headed in. Using a widely used app that provides discounts was met with attitude and a 15 minute wait to process a discount. Only to find out at check out that they decided on their own to only fill 10 pills despite the doctors script and my coupon both indicating 90 pills. No one said a word. When I asked about the total being less than a 90 pill supply (around 30 cents a pill, expecting a $30 tab but it was $11) was told we filled ten. I asked them to check the script. Yup she only sent in 10. Later confirmed with provider it was a 90. So I called the store only to be told theyre real busy and probably cant take your call. On hold for 10 minutes, I dropped. Note there is no other way to communicate other than in person, best of my knowledge. So, I Then transferred scrip electronically to another pharmacy without indicating anything about the quantity issues. And they filled it for 90. Hmmm. What the heck is going on at this place? Dont go here unless you like wasting time and money.
