Brooke- I’m sorry you feel like you didn’t have a chance to get your items. We are fairly rigid about our pick up times because we just can’t meet the special needs of hundreds of people. We work with people when emergencies come up and are typically able to make accommodations. We frequently leave items outside for people who have to come late on our pick up date, so I’m surprised we weren’t able to do that in your case. It becomes a more difficult challenge if the items are on site at someone’s property (not at our auction center) - but I don’t know if that was the case here. This is why we stress that you know the pick up times and can either make it yourself or have someone who can pick up for you during those designated times! We do call those who have not yet come to pick up their items about an hour prior to the pick up window ending. I personally make those calls- we do it as a courtesy and our intent is never to be rude. We just want people to be able to get their items!
