-15 degree weather and the company they hired is having people snowblow 10+ buildings and we havent even had people come clean out the parking lot since the first snow hit. We can barely get cars out of parking spaces and these guys were just here yesterday! Also garbage hasn't been taken out in a week and has been completely full since then. Windows need replaced - snow actually blows through them! Furnaces are overheating in apartments (one in my building and at least one other) so they are 95 degrees. Workers say nothing is wrong but obviously there is- and we pay for electricity. They cant keep staff so turnover has been high and office is barely open. The only reason why Im staying here is because I have good neighbors right now. Now there are so many dogs that there is poop all over the place and no baggies in the poop areas (although people should have their own baggies). Cant even let my kid walk in the grass in some areas bc of the excessive poop.

Is there a way to give 0 stars? No communication even when management says they will communicate with you. There is a new property manager who has zero people skills and lacks professionalism. They make the fact that they can't keep staff the residents issue. Our fridge hasn't worked correctly since we moved in. Our pilot light on our fire place has never been fixed. My roommate doesn't have a fixture to cover her light in her bedroom. All of this was marked on our condition form when we moved in in September. We had a pest problem and it took them two weeks to fix it. Only to enter after I told them specifically that no one is allowed to enter unless it is maintenance employed by Elevate so no vendors and they sent in a vendor anyways, we have dogs that don't like new people if not introduced correctly. They never communicated that they had scheduled the service, when they said they would, so I hired the The Bug Man that I work with at the complex I work at. I know all I'll get from this is a please email this email and someone will be with you shortly. Which they won't and don't even try to call them, if its important they'll send you to voicemail and never call you back. The only saving grace they have was Courtney who left and Blake the maintenance tech who was great at his job.

I had an appliance on its last legs and those at High Pointe went above and beyond my expectations. The maintenance team and office staff are wonderful!

If I could give a lower rating, I would. Unfortunately, I hate to share such disappointing circumstances, but management takes considerable amounts of time to respond to concerns without resolution. Perhaps, these concerns will finally be addressed. Unfortunately, I feel like the apartment is no longer a safe place for me to stay. A few weeks ago, the tenet below me complained of ice developing on her wall on Friday of that week. The maintenance came that day and noticed it was connected to my unit yet they didnt communicate that with me. During this time, they authorized HVAC to come address the issue. Again, the apartment never contacted me to tell me this concern. On Monday the following week, HVAC came and entered my apartment without my consent/permission/knowledge and turned off access to my air conditioning (which I wasnt using). How often have they entered my apartment? Furthermore, management never even informed me that they entered my apartment. After the fact, it was my neighbor (the person who reported the ice) who notified me that they felt uncomfortable about the situation (their entrance into my apartment without my consent). This lack of communication is truly appalling. Finally, HVAC was given a key and a member of the management did not accompany them to my apartment. What if they took something or damaged the apartment in someway? With that being said, its weeks later and they still have not resolved the initial for the tenet below me. Clearly showing that it isnt an emergency. The management asserts that this was an emergency situation, but had nearly four days to notify me that they were going to enter my apartment. I have a dog. What if she would have gotten loose? Unfortunately, I feel like they have been unresponsive and unkind at addressing this issue. Since they violated the lease and have cultivated an unsafe environment, I need to move immediately. I would assert that they dont respect your property. I would like to add that they have no effective method of communication. You have to call and email 100 times before you get a response and it will still take weeks.
