Basically it's a disgusting hotel to rent a room from and the weekly rates are out rages when they are bed bug infested and the rooms are disgusting and the carpets are disgusting in the rooms out there at the Palmer house hotel and the good things are there's a car repair shop right next to it plus a few restaurants and other business and a grocery store and gas station across the street from the Palmer house so it has its good promps but other than that it needs to be shut down and either fixed up or torn down Cause I wouldn't even let my kids stay there or my pets like a dog or any kind of pet
Walkability: It's across the street from a grocery store and gas station and a dollar tree and other business across the street from it and a car repair shop and other parts store
Food & drinks: There's a grocery store and gas station across the street from it and a dollar tree and other business and restaurants

Well the day that I checked out from the Palmer house on either this past Friday or Saturday can't remember what day but the actual owner when I got my deposit back I didn't realize that he handed me a fake hundred dollar bill but I didn't realize that it was fake till I gave it to my girlfriend and she noticed right off the top and then we both went back into the office and she gave him heck about it and so did I cause when I gave the one guy that always wears a brown Carhartt jacket that morning I gave him all $20 for the rent part and then gave him all $20 for the deposit part for room 23 but the owner did take the fake hundred back and gave us the real hundred dollars cause my girlfriend said she was gonna call the police if he didn't but he gave us the real hundred dollars back so don't ever stay there at the Palmer house hotel cause the owner is a cruck and a lier and even some of there worker's are lier's also plus there ac units don't even work cause they are so old and plus there rooms are nasty as heck especially on the weekly side which is on the same side as the Mexican restaurant is that side those rooms are nasty as hell

If I'm being honest, this motel needs to be torn down and entirely rebuilt. The rooms are so old that they look like nothing has ever been remodeled. It looks like these were built in 1900. The old carpet and flooring was sticky, our shoes were sticking to it. There were cigarette burn holes in the chairs and comforters even though we had a non-smoking room. The light fixtures were completely rusted, the fridge and microwave didn't work. The lamp was broken and the lamp shade was torn. There were beard shavings in the top of the bathroom faucets. There was also a smell in our room. Luckily we only needed a bed, shower, and toilet for the night, so we weren't there long.
Rooms: Please update your rooms, this was not a good experience for us. The guy at the desk when we checked in was really nice and informative, however.
