Went for wifes birthday. Originally had it scheduled for one day and due to potential weather had to reschedule. Owners were easy work with to fix our issue. Location is fantastic and even though cooler out we walked the grounds to look around. Wife thought it was amazing to watch the deer running around. Hot tub was bigger than we assumed, and I added a cheese cake for my wife since I don't bake, and the wife thought it tasted so good. Wife really enjoyed the coffee for the K cup machine. We went to the den and played pool. Next morning we went for breakfast in the dining room. Was first class service, nothing like ever had before, and the food was tasty. The wife is already thinking of other trips she wants to make to the Oakwood Inn

Our stay was great! We have been there many times. We plan to visit again. Bridget and Bills calm demeanor and friendly smiles are so welcoming. Truly concierge service. Bridget remembers our preferences and quietly makes them happen. The gardens are beautiful and unique, creating an atmosphere or calm and relaxation. It is the best place to stay away from the busy lakes area, but very close to enjoy.

Beautiful setting. Romantic getaway. Large comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast. Quiet. Highly recommend for a nice getaway. Thanks again for all your effort into making this a very pleasant place to stay.

We loved our relaxing stay at Oakwood Inn! The location is close to town, yet quiet & secluded. It is close a Nature Center and nice walking trails. The rooms were large, clean, very comfortable and quiet. The homedade breakfast each morning was yummy! The owners are so hospitable, available & non intrusive! We will look forward to the next time our travels take us to Okoboji & when we can go back to the Oakwood Inn!! Rooms: Rooms are large, clean and very comfortable! Nearby activities: Close to town, with excellent food options and some cute shopping experiences! Walkability: Loved the walking trails right next to the property, we walked 5-10 miles each day Food & drinks: The homemade breakfast (three course) each morning was so good! It was served so elegantly on china, in a beautiful dining room!
