I was very disappointed and uncomfortable during my visit due to the assistant not wearing a mask. This lack of concern for their clients and unprofessionalism continued at the end of my visit when she started complaining and mocking another client while I was in the room. This is not the first time this has happened, so I assume this disrespect for their clients is a regular occurrence. I enjoyed Dr. Rhoden and appreciated her consideration and respect, so I will be going to see her from now on in Waukee where the staff are more educated and considerate.

Absolutely horrible experience, unfriendly and unprofession staff with awful customer service. Ive worked in customer service for the past four years and i would never have treated anyone the way they treated us. There was no certified veterinary even present in the building when we went in. Only vet techs. We have never had issues with our cat being aggressive. The vet techs handled everything extremely poorly and only increased our cats stress, our cat showed no signs of agression other than being scared of new people and hiding. They immediately put a muzzle on her that blinded her and instant made her terrified. They then proceeded to wrap her in a blanket and not even put her paws in the blanket which is the only reason they would use it, to incapacitate her from scratching. The vet techs then proceeded to grab her extremely hard behind the neck and put her entire body over my cat. I could see her knuckles turning white from grabbing my cats skin so hard ! 😡 My cat was screaming like ive never heard her scream before. My boyfriend had to leave the room because it was so upsetting. Please never go here. Ive never experience anything worse than this. They are horrible and have no idea how to handle animals.
