Clear Choice Exteriors

We hired Clear Choice Exteriors to fix the weather damage on my mother's house 2 months ago. Jordan Nevitt was the salesman and we talked with him about my mother being medically retired and can't afford a big payment past the insurance money. My mother's deductible is $500. I was assured they would work with us, After we paid 12,000 up front and when finished we paid another 8250. Then they billed my mother an extra $2,379.77. That doesn't add up. Also they broke the contract. They destroyed my mothers house and fixed 1 thing they did. First, they broke the antenna on the roof, which we had to pay someone to come fix it. They broke the light protectors on the security light in the back of the house ( I pointed this out to them and didn't get replaced). They had to attach storm protectors back on the outside of the basement windows, when they did this they bolted them on with trash inside them. They destroyed 2 downspouts. They replaced 1 because you could see it from the road but the one in the back of the house they just put a new screw in it. The downspout is sliced in the back and they didn't replace it. They also didn't clean up their trash and destroyed my mothers plants and flowers. There is no way I'm paying the extra $2,379.77 due to then breaking the contract. They put a lien on my mothers house which is completely wrong.

Clear Choice installed replacement windows in my basement several years ago and theyve been great. When I needed to replace five more on the second floor, I got four bids. Clear Choice not only had the best product but by far the best price. Jeremy was great to work with, meeting with my wife and me at our home as well as Clear Choices showroom. The installers were friendly and respectful of our property. And Jeremy scheduled a post-installation visit to make sure the windows were performaing properly and to our satisfaction. I chose this company because I had family and friends that had used them. The most recent being five years ago before COVID. This company has changed. My wrapping was installed dented. I'm missing caulking around my windows which they're saying isn't needed but their old installations had caulk. I had a siding professional come out and verify my windows aren't caulked correctly and that means water will get into the walls and destroy my house. I've had zero response. They keep putting me off. They took half the screens because they were installed in a damaged state and have yet to return them. Meanwhile I still have to make payments on these windows. I should have gone with Ultimate Exteriors. I'm incredibly unhappy and this is such an expensive purchase it's not like you can redo them.
