    Edge charges an online fee to pay rent electronically. They take forever to respond to any maintenance request. Their properties are old, not well maintained, and clearly have had no upkeep since their original construction. If you can rent anywhere else, I highly recommend it.

    Dont pay the money and tour with them unless youre positive youre planning to go with one of their properties. They will not give you your refund back if you decide against their place! Very frustrating!

    Truly, a nightmare. Weve been living and renting in Cedar Falls for over 10 years and this is hands down the WORST renting experience either one of us has ever had. I wouldnt wish this living nightmare on anyone. Sooo many maintenance requests. Sooo many bugs. A dead mouse left in the garage when we first moved in. Water damage that ruined our couch within the first two weeks. Being harassed by our neighbor who was conducting business out of his unit to discover there was NO INSULATION the whole time. Hearing EVERYTHING between units and having no privacy when we initially asked about noise. Almost having a fire because they didnt tell us or show us how to switch our filters and it stated in our lease we couldnt go in the utility room ever. Having maintenance constantly come to work on the furnace and the garage. Maintenance never seemed to do the job right the first time - someone would always have to come back after someone else had already been there. They threw down a cardinals nest when cleaning the gutters (which they didnt fix) and we had to pick up the nest with bloody eggs. Laurie is the worst property manager Ive ever dealt with. Shes very accusatory, rude, and manages the property very poorly. We were good, clean tenants that cared and always paid our rent on time and she always made us feel like we were an inconvenience. We are so relieved to not be renting from them anymore!!

Thank you Maddy for looking at our units. Like I explained to you earlier, when I asked you if you wanted us to process your application you told us to go ahead and process it. It states before you even apply for the unit that once we start processing the application the application fee is nonrefundable. You told us to process it and we did, yes we needed more information for approval and we had reach out for that. You choose to go with a different unit with a different company then ours. You most defiantly would have gotten your fee back if in the beginning you told us that you did not like the unit and didn't want to move forward. Thank you again for looking at our units and good luck to you in the future.

Hello Monica, We were very accommodating when you needed to extend your move out date, even though this put us in a bind. I know you were upset that you would have to pay for those days but please know we must charge for the days that you are there per our agreement with the owners of the property. We always had a fast response on maintenance requests as you entered them. I know you were a long-term tenant, at multiple units so I am surprised to hear that you were so unhappy with the extended amount of time you choose Edge. We brought the insulation up to the property owner & they insulated more to accommodate you when you brought this to our attention as no previous tenants had. We do appreciate your prompt rent payments. Good luck to you in your future endeavors!
