Rustic vibe, so think cabin. Furniture made of of branches with the bark on it, lots of plaid, cute bear signs, lamp with canoes for the base. Room was clean but did have slight smell of the cleaner. Not enough to bother me but I could smell it. (Not enough to knock it down to a 4 star) Too cold to open a window for fresh air (that is if we could open it...I'm not sure.) Parking was limited due to people there with their boats in tow. Moose picture is from the lobby. Rooms: Basic rooms, clean. Would have liked curtains on the windows as the blinds did not shut out all of the light. Walkability: We took stairs to the second floor. I do not know if they had an elevator. Food & drinks: Breakfast was 3 kinds of cereal, oatmeal packets, bagels, toast and the fixings. Milk, juices and coffee to drink. They also had sausages in a crock pot. If you or your kids like sweets they also had Twinkies, snowballs, cosmic brownies and other sugary treats. LOL

On the fence of 3 to 4 stars. Bathroom needs more cleaning attention than it got. Looked to me based on accumulation of hair in the tub and bathroom corners that cleaning is rushed on a regular basis. Service seemed to be good. Breakfast was also decent if you are ok with getting milk from gallon jug instead of individual cartons. Really comes down to what you are comfortable with and what you are willing to spend. I didnt notice any out of control cleaning smells like some non-chain owned locations. Labor costs have gone out of control and you can see that in all service related industry. If you want to save some money and are ok with some corners being cut this was a good place. If you want something better you will end up paying more.
