A Vacuum Shop

Great to find a place that fixes vacuums. They were fair and prompt. No charge for diagnosis of the machine. And was given an estimate of the repair before any work was started or parts ordered. Definitely a great place to do business.

This is my second visit to this shop in West Des Moines. The first time, I needed a new cord on my back massager and wanted to check and see if he could do this. He fixed it while I waited, and the charge was fair. He was nice and friendly, and we visited while it was fixed. This time, it was a vacuum for a friend I had tried putting on the new belt. I tried and couldn't get it, so I took it to him. He got it on in 5 minutes, also finding a spring that was missing, and then carried it to my car and didn't charge me anything. I would recommend his shop to anyone needing help with their vacuum. This is your man if you are looking for Knowledgeable, honest, and friendly. He can fix anything with a cord. I took my Dyson stick vacuum here after it wouldn't start. I dropped it off on Friday and on Tuesday I was called and informed that the unit was working. The filter had been put back on damp and caused a temporary issue which resolved itself by drying out. I was not charged (which they easily could have charged a convenience fee or been dishonest about any repair work that was performed). They have earned a lifetime customer as a result.

Excellent guy helped me out fast and didn't charge me for his time. This is definitely a gem in West Des Moines! Support this business they'll treat you fairly and honestly. Can't rave about it enough. If you need a vacuum or need one fixed, this should be the first place you visit, because it's the last place you'll need to visit.
