Always a great place to stay.
Rooms: Clean, up to date, pretty private.
Nearby activities: Plenty of things to do around hotel.
Pubs, eateries shopping.
Safety: Seems safe surrounding hotel.
Walkability: Many shops in walking distance.
Food & drinks: The drink tickets and breakfast along with the afternoon meal are great perks.

Stayed 4 nights. Amazingly quiet which was so relaxing. Great breakfast! Good location. Staff were always helpful and nice.

Great hotel, not the room we selected but they were able to give us a similar one that worked. Pool/hot tub was super crowded, as were the dining area-- but one of the best things about this particular hotel is the 5:30 Kickback which includes THREE FREE drinks (mixed or wine etc) for both of us adults, and plenty of food/snack items for the kiddos! The breakfast that comes with the stay is amazing and so many options too-- staff was more than friendly and we had a great, quiet night just like the first time we stayed! Location is also great-- easy to get to and next to a lot of places to explore, shop, eat etc- you can't go wrong. #DruryInn #WestDesMoines #DesMoinesIA #DesMoinesHotel

Free meals at the hotel always trumps ordering takeout and The Drury delivers some good home cooked food. Mac and cheese, pulled pork, salad and the like. All the goodies a hungry soul could dream of eating at your fingertips.
