      image The family dining was great and service more than wonderful. The food was plentiful, just very bland. Chicken is not seasoned with anything, and other food just out of a sysco box. I would probably not go back for the food only but for the nostalgia of what the place represents.

      image We drove 90 minutes to eat at the Brookville Hotel in Abilene, and it was well worth the drive. The family style chicken dinner was exceptional. The chicken was delicious, and the sides of mashed potatoes, cream corn, slaw, and bread were tasty. The staff was attentive and helpful. It was a nice atmosphere to have a great Easter dinner without having to cook. My family had a wonderful meal, and we plan to return to try their steaks.
