The Abilene Public Library is the quintessential small-town library. While I want to live in New York City when older, I do still appreciate the homey, everybody-knows-everyone vibe that this library pulsates with. Over time, I have gotten to know and familiarize myself with the staff and the stacks. I absolutely love all of the librarians. They are absolutely amazing. I also appreciate their efficiency in getting new books to appetize my speed reading and avid reading personality. The features for teens, like myself, I also think is amazing. I love how they have a snack cart, puzzles, coloring pages and so much more for even more fun. While I haven't really explored the younger kid's section (because I'm not a little kid), I'm positive it is just as amazing as the teen's floor and the adult/main floor library. I could go on and on about my infatuation with this library, but I'll conclude with this: The Abilene Public Library is perfect in every aspect. I encourage everyone to go check it out.
