Our airbnb got canceled, and we were frantically looking for a hotel in Independence for a wedding. We went with this location because of other recent reviews, and it was so close to everything we needed.
The employee working the desk was so sweet and helpful! The rooms were very clean and there were no problems in the room at all. Even has a microwave and mini fridge for storing snacks and food. Breakfast was also great!
Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Independence and will be back here in the summer when we come back!

Stayed at Microtel Inn in Independence Kansas for two nights.Very clean and bed was very comfortable.Was easy check-in and was very happy with my stay there. Would highly recommend this place.Very convenient to stores and restaurants.
Rooms: Room was very clean and beds were awesome!
Nearby activities: Close to restaurants and stores
Safety: Very lighted and felt safe walking to and from car
Food & drinks: Did not take advantage of the breakfast
