Gary from Windtree is a decent Landlord, but the end result is a poor experience. My apartment was dirty moving in, and I still was charged a carpet cleaning fee, which I was confident that I would, and he found what he said was a black area in the spare room that we never noticed. He was in the apartment multiple times, and I asked him to inspect the upper area of the rooms several times as well. He was even in the apartment on his own and said he did not notice it. But, I was still "charged" for him to fix it. Gary appears to look for hidden ways to charge you when you leave. Be careful! He will tell you that you are a good renter, but not treat you well in the end.

if i can give zero stars i would. Everything was great until i moved out. I received a cleaning bill of 800$ and i refused it because that could not possibly have been my cleaning bill. Before i moved out, i cleaned my apartment from top to bottom with different cleaning supplies and deodorants and made sure i left it close to what i met when i moved in. Mr Gary the property manager came by and did a walk-through and confirmed it VERBALLY thats it was in perfect condition and that we would definitely get my deposit back except the cost for cleaning the carpet professionally. However he had done the walk through with my husband with no forms to sign to confirm it was done. About 3wks later, i called and he said he had nothing to send to me because my house was filthy and cost them the total of my deposit to clean it. I had no proof, no pictures, no signed documents to prove him wrong. So please take pictures when you are leaving this apartment.
