We had some home repairs that needed attention. This included a broken toilet pipe that caused the ceiling in a had bath to be replaced We also wanted one toilet reinstalled and a new one installed that we purchased. DO NOT USE ACE HANDYMAN Service!!! The 1st guy tried to remove black mold for the impacted himself. ( we have asthma) he said he treated the mold with the bleach we gave him and Microban really try to doPer Julie he should not have done anything with the mold. While I was working and in the phone he put his phone in my face to show me a picture of the broken pipe. I had already asked him not to interrupt me while I was on the phone. Julie ( office staff) left 2 messages that were pretty much the same in 3 hours this same morning. Then when we called back about a new estimate she did not have that hand when we called . I had to tell her 3-4 times that the whole ceiling had been torn down. 2 . The 2nd guy is the one who made the made decision about the toilet. He did not inform us that we needed a new flange just offered to get a wax ring. Did not tell us that shim was temporary. 3 the 3rd guy wanted to fix out ceilings the day after we had the mold removed. The patch on the pipe started leaking and he was going to still repair the ceiling after a new pipe was put in even though it was still wet. I asked if the ceiling was dry enough to be fixed and he said no, this is not something I should have to worry about. Hes also the one who stepped on one of the freshly planted plants. He was also no call no show. Hopefully theres not health issue. The fourth and final guy named Gonzo seems the only one who is competent. Julie now claims that the toilet guy told us what needs to be done and said he was honest. Basically calling us liars Then wanted to give us a estimate. The trampled plant is still not replaced despite them telling us twice they would drop one off. So they are still claiming that the first guy never tried to remove mold, which as previously stated he did with bleach and Microban. And the guy who replaced the toilets never explained to us that they shim was temporary or that it needed a new flange. Either the owners incredibly stupid and believes her staff or the whole companies crooked. Stay away.

Ellie did a wonderful job installing some organization systems in my kitchen cabinets. She added a wood base at the bottom of the lazy susan for the corner cabinet to keep it from catching, and she added some framing for the pots and pans organizer to keep it stable. Ellie explained the frame would also serve as a nice area to store something. I have my largest, often used pan stored there and it is very accessible. Ellie went above and beyond to make sure everything functioned optimally. She was also very personable. Kudos also to the scheduling office for their help. Very impressed with Ellie and Ace Handyman Services. Will definitely use again!

Dave and Grady did an excellent job. We had significant wood rot around our deck door and they replaced the door frame, threshold, and installed a new door. It looks brand new again. They also fixed two other doors (front, basement) so they would open/close easier and replaced locks. Grady returned for another time to complete the job and did an outstanding job. He had great vision to swap out the used deck door for the basement door (they had just installed a new deck door so the used one was not needed anymore and in better shape than the basement door). He saved us money by using what we had instead of suggesting we buy another new door. Grady was thorough and so knowledgeable. He was easy to communicate with and pleasant. Dave was as well. The whole process was efficient and professional! I was alerted via text that Dave was on his way and he arrived at the time that was scheduled! Dave did a very professional job and explained what he was going to do in easy to understand terms! The work was completed within the time frame that was quoted and Dave left no mess after he was done! Great experience - will use this service again an again! Service: Home maintenance & repairs
