I've been banking with Mazuma for close to a decade, I've never deposited a bad check, I make deposits digitally and in person regularly. I changed my name from a eurocentric first and last name about four years ago and since then they've wanted to put checks that I deposit on hold regardless of how much I have in my account. I am a working artist who does fairly well and considering my account history I shouldn't have to wait for funds to be available. Often times the money I need is for supplies for large projects so access is important. I will be closing my account. If you're a small business find a bank or credit union that respects you enough to not mildly accuse you of fraud.

I love the personal banking experience and friendliness I get at Mazuma. On my most recent in lobby visit I was helped by Rich. He handled getting me a replacement card for my business account, pay off a loan and get a lien release and print some checks ---- all done in less than 15 minutes!
