BEWARE! I dont give bad reviews but I hope to help someone else by writing this. I hired her for my divorce and thought with her experience and gender Id be in good hands. She delayed the case by not getting the discovery to request the other parties proof of assets for months. She didnt do until I went to her office and demanded. Every delay cost me 300$. She charges for every email despite she only responds about 20% of the time. In my case she would only respond to one of my email questions so I would have to email numerous more times to get one more question answered. If she would respond and answer all questions it would be great. Then on the day of mediation she admitted she never sent the discovery to request his documents.I wanted to delay mediation and get his documents. I had emailed her numerous times asking for his documents and left voicemails. She threatened how much more she would charge if we went to court. [I believe she didnt want the judge to see shed not done that]. I felt backed into a corner and was shocked at her lack of representation of me.She took his word for everything despite I had submitted all proof otherwise. She called his appraisal of my house nonsense as we were only married 2 yrs and I paid it off four years before I met him. But she sure used it. Cost me 7,500$.She clearly advocated for the other party. I dont think for one minute shes incompetent. He blew 50;000$ from the sale of his house behind my back. She said that didnt matter because hed spent it. I sent numerous emails and left voicemails asking for his documents. So how could she have accidentally not sent the request? If I could do it over Id not hire her, or at least made her take it back to court and let the judge see she handled the case the way she did. Personally , I feel there was a deal between her and the other party. I see no other way to explain it. Please be careful. I dont want what happened to me to happen to you.
