Kressa the manager at hamptonwoods is so amazing. We lived there for 4 years and she and her staff were so helpful and friendly. When we moved to a bigger apt. She was so kind and did the walk thru with me right away when I asked. We will really miss her. Hamptonwoods needs to hang on to her. She is wonderful

Ive never written an online public review. I never would be compelled to do so unless my experience was either extremely horrible or extremely pleasant. A close young adult relative of mines moved to this complex about a year or 2 ago. Unfortunately it wasnt until after she moved in, I decided to glance at the reviews. Majority of the reviews were not very favorable. I let my relative know that it probably wasnt a good idea to have moved to H.Woods based off reviews alone. My relative has a medical condition that has on several occasions required the assistance of office staff personnel. Myself, & my relatives experience with office personnel personally, has been the most absolute pleasant & helpful experience! Im specifically referring to, two current lady office staff personnel. These two ladies have went above and beyond to accommodate my relative & assist her in any way possible. To the point where theyve treated her like they would treat their own loved one, in my absence! Aside from the two lovely ladies in the office, I can say that all maintenance request has been responded to and completed in a timely manner. I understand everyone experience is different and could have been total opposite of ours. However, just thought Id share our experience. Hope its helps anyone deciding to move in or continue residency at Hampton woods.

I have lived here for a year, and recently renewed my lease because I have felt so comfortable at Hampton Woods. Im semi-retired, and so having a complex that is safe, well-maintained, and with friendly staff and neighbors is vital to me. I have found all that, here. My neighbors always say hello, even if Im just sitting out on my patio at night. Whenever Ive had a maintenance issue, they have responded within a day. Ive seen zero insects in my apartment all year! The swimming pools are opened on time (HUGE PLUS!) and are sparkling clean! My grandson loves visiting in the summer because the pool is so clean and large. I dont see a lot of young children here, so its a rather quiet area to live at. College kids live here who travel to KU, but they are not loud. Grounds are very clean, despite lots of dogs. My only issue here was living next to 435, but you get used to it. I like the Valet trash pick up outside my door! I love the woods behind my apartment! Its home!
