Villa West Apartments and Townhomes

I would not recommend living at Villa West. When I moved in the place was not well cleaned, smelled of cigarette smoke, had mold, and the carpets were extremely dirty. After trying to clean the carpets with a rental carpet cleaner, I had to give up and hire a professional carpet cleaning service. Clearly the carpets and units are not well cleaned between tenants. Management and maintenance refused to acknowledge or fix cigarette smoke smell. And the mold was only temporarily fixed after I got management involved when maintenance refused to acknowledge its presence as well. My second floor bathtub/shower also started leaking into my first floor ceiling about 6 months into my lease. Maintenance refused to find the leak or fix it. They kept caulking around the bathtub and painting over the wet spot on the ceiling despite me telling them that that wasnt working. This is obviously a health and safety/structural hazard. I hope they fix it before parts of the ceiling collapse. I paid my rent on time every month and left the place cleaner then when I moved in yet they gave me none of my deposit back. Ive heard some units are better than others, good luck if you want to take the gamble.

I have been staying in the Villa West since 2017. The community is well maintained. Any issue has been addressed by the team in less than 24 hours. I have seen the management from IRET to Monarch each year there has been upgraded services and am so thankful being one in there committee. I have met Kathryn who takes care of the management - the office is always lively, smiling and always have something attractive for the rentals like tie dye party, ice cream party, searching the gold coins on martin Luther king day. I like there newsletter each month in my email. They do have the resident app which is easy to pay your monthly rentals, set up any notifications and address any kind of issues. I would like to refer any one looking for the apartments. Thank you Villa West for giving us friendly neighbors and neighborhood.

Poor management. They are so quick to take your money for deposit blowing your phone and email up but yet they cant answer the phone when you call several times a day needing questions answered. Good neighborhood. For people moving in just know youll be dealing with ridiculous management.

The staff are polite, knowledgeable, and quite helpful and maintenance is incredibly prompt and careful. You will love this peaceful, welcoming neighborhood!
