    Maintenance takes months. They can't keep help because the office staff is terrible to deal with. They will walk into you apartment whenever they want without notice. Find some where else to rent.

    I lived at Fontainebleau for just over a year and a half as a single mom of two while going through a divorce. I was so happy to have found such a safe and inviting place for my children and myself since we were starting over. I never missed a rent payment and always made sure we were not a disturbance to anyone. The window in the room my kids stayed in was not chalked properly so cold air continuously came in. I did notice that chalking was not done properly throughout the entire apartment because this happened with numerous windows. After purchasing my home, I went through the process of ending my lease. I understood the additional costs that came with terminating early. I was appreciative of the communication of the steps that would take place the last two months of my lease. The apartment was cleaned up before turning over my keys. The lady that I spoke with when turning in my keys mentioned they saw my apartment during the pest inspection a few days prior to me turning over my keys and said the apartment looked great and my deposit would be in the mail in the next 30 days. I thanked her and awaited for any additional communication. It was very disappointing to find out that I was in fact not getting my deposit back but actually owed more. The water bill for the month that I didnt live there went up almost $30. It is ridiculous that each apartment does not pay for their water usage but that it is split between all in the building. I also owed $3 for every light bulb that needed replaced (so just a heads up to anyone currently living there to replace lightbulbs or youll be charged a ridiculous amount for those to be changed). The drip pans to the stove were cleaned numerous times but were stained from the heat of the stove because of the cheap quality. I was charged to replace those as well. As someone who worked very hard to make sure a payment was never missed and that the apartment was left in great shape, its very disappointing to learn all of this after hearing Id be receiving a deposit. It was just a very disappointing end to living at a place that I thought was great for my kids and I.

    Ive lived here for about 3 months now and have had an ongoing issue with spiders. Theyve sprayed at least 5-6 times and they are still turning up. I personally can handle a spider or 2 but its gotten to the point where Im still seeing at least 1-2 a day. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this problem or if its just my complex/apartment. Ive also put in a work order multiple times for our front door trim to be fixed when it broke back in June and its September and still hasnt been fixed.
