    I brought an Apple computer to TopCity Tech approx. 1-1/2 yrs ago for a new hard drive. The work was done by the previous owners staff & the computer returned to us. 2 weeks ago, while relocating the computer in our home, the screen FALLS OFF the computer, exposing the inner workings & breaking the screen. After returning to TopCity Tech, we were informed that we would have to pay approx. $250 for a new screen. The technician I spoke with admitted that the screen was not adhered correctly, as there was dust all around the adhesive strip. The new owner of the business would not stand behind the work that was done. The new owner is apparently happy to keep the clients that he bought from the previous owner, but if something goes wrong hes not willing to make it right. Customer service on the part of the technician was outstanding. Customer service on the part of the owner was pathetic. Well be finding a new computer repair store next time the service is needed.

    I have been using TopCity Tech for about 10 years to fix my computer or laptop as needed, along with other technical issues or questions I've needed help with. They are friendly, knowledgeable, reasonable priced service with a smile. They recently went under new ownership, however there friendly staff has not changed. It's nice to have an honest and helpful team available when I need them. I will continue to recommend them to all my friends and family.

    The Top in Top City Tech is very clearly only a Topeka reference and has nothing to do with their integrity, value, or business acumen. I took in my laptop for a repair that was slightly more fiddly than I wanted to get into. I was told 5-7 business days. After 14 full days I decided to reach out for an update. After 4 phone calls with no answer, I got a call stating it would be done another 4 business days later. Finally got notified it was finished. Went in to pick it up, paid their exorbitant labor fee, got home and didn't have a chance to fully check things out. The next morning however, I plug in my laptop and start it up to be greeted by a lovely message saying I had the wrong AC adapter for my laptop. Continue through, the repair was successful. I've called a few times to no answer and left a voicemail, hoping to get the correct charger back (it's $90 for a replacement) and not a heard a single word. 0/5 overall experience and cannot discourage this business enough.
