It has become evident this school teaches its law students to disregard the constitution, specifically in regard to freedom of speech and freedom of the press. This law school graduated Honorable Laura E. Viar in 2003. She now serves as magistrage judge for the 8th district of Kansas. Recently, she signed off on an illegal warrant and raid of a Marion Cty. Kansas local newspaper. This raid was an attempt to squash a story that was critical of Marion police and raised issues of corruption. The story has now blown up on a national scale, and involves the death of a 98 year old woman who the police had been targetting. Washburn University has obviously failed to instill the core values of our founding document the constitution in its students, if this is the end result. We need lawyers and judges who uphold the constitution, not tear it down in a cloud of tyranny.
