American Eagle tax service does a very thorough job on getting your taxes prepared and submitted correctly. If you have any questions they are more than willing to help you out. Highly recommend.

If you need to get trucker taxes done do not come to this place. Horrible service ! Barbara filed 1040 when I needed trucker taxes and deductions. Very dissatisfied.

BEWARE! Do not do business with American Eagle Tax in Topeka. Barb figured and filed my taxes. Told me I owed over 16,000 in taxes because a rollover check was made out to me rather than the entity my money was being rolled over to. Simple research on my part determined that I had 60 days to roll over the check I received to the new entity. I then took all info I had taken to Barb to a very reputable person who refigured my taxes CORRECTLY and determined I should have received a REFUND of 3751.00 and he filed amended State and Federal returns. This person also dealt with the IRS on my behalf. I called Barb and explained the situation. She agreed that I was correct about the indirect rollover rule. I told her I felt my tax prep fee of 143.00 I paid her should be refunded to me. She told me she would have to think about it. I called her back four days later and asked if she had made a decision. She told me she was not going to refund my tax prep fee. then our conversation got disconnected. There was only one right thing for her to do in this situation and she chose not to do it. This person is professionally and morally corrupt.

Terrible first impression. Scheduled an appointment 3 weeks in advance. Arrived there and no one greeted me. I then went up to the receptionist and she said "just a minute" without looking at me. After she finished typing something, she asked what I needed. I told her I was there for my appointment and she said "Didn't we call you yesterday?" I said no and she said "oh the other receptionist was supposed to call you. This is just a drop off." I then asked if I could email everything instead because no one told me I needed to bring physical documents (I do everything on QuickBooks and was prepared to email tax returns from my phone) and she said "sure" and gave me a business card. As a business owner, my time is valuable, and this was such a big waste of my time to go there just to be told I could have emailed everything 3 weeks ago instead.
