A couple years ago I had Nick, who no longer works there. He was impatient with occasional anger. He always expected me to teach his group for him when he would get too frustrated. Now my fiance has Diana and I wish I had found her a different place to go. Diana's group spends the entire 2 hours doing check ins and chit chat. There is no set structure followed towards graduating and actual progress is put off repeatedly to spend all the time doing check ins and chatting. My fiance has no desire to drink and no cravings or triggers or any failed UA but cant graduate because there is nothing done in this group except checking everyone in and chit chatting with each one. If she has not graduated by her probation deadline I will be leaving negative reviews on every google account i can and on other websites as well. People who are not at risk of relapse and are ready for graduation shouldnt be forced to come for multiple months longer to continue charging money for their attendance. I have been around counseling my entire life with multiple family members working in the field and I have not seen this place be very efficient at all. If nothing is being taught to the client and no additional needed life skills are being learned (coping mechanisms, vulnerability, loving yourself etc) then there is no reason to be charging people to attend for half a year with no set timelined structure leading towards graduation that is not dependent clearly on their progress or risk level of relapse
