Was told I was to fat for there chair to do anything and they would have to send me to Lexington ky thats 5 hours away.

These people (Dr Abell) are great. After driving 30 mins. to see them they took an x-ray, then told me 4 wisdom teeth need to come out. They said I had some gum disease and needed a possible extraction there as well. No cleaning, No antibiotic, and a list of oral surgeons that don't either take wellcare or that are two hours away. They don't deserve a payment.....

They were friendly, they weren't necessarily trying to push me to get my tooth extracted right then and there, but I feel as if they were trying to scare me away from trying to save my tooth. Told me a root canal would do nothing for my tooth, that it needed to be extracted. Asked what I could do for the pain while I think about what I'm wanting done and he pretty much told me there was nothing but get it pulled. I asked about antibiotics and he told me that that wouldn't be good for my tooth. Also told me the cost of a root canal would be 3000$ and my insurance wouldn't cover it. Went and got a second opinion and my tooth CAN be saved for 2400$ less than what they told me the cost would be. Unless you know for CERTAIN that your tooth needs to be pulled, I would NOT go here.

First I want to start by saying, THIS PLACE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND.! Dr. Abel and the nurses are so sweet, even the women upfront who check you in are sweet.! I walked into the room., the nurse was instantly nice and very thoughtful as she could tell I was nervous! They took the time to calm me down and explain everything that was gonna happen once I got seated in the chair. The nurse even held my hand to help ease my nerves while my tooth was pulled. (It was my first time) lol. they encouraged me the whole way through and I couldve hugged them both by time it was out. I didnt feel a thing, and had waited for months out of fear! Dont wait any longer, this is the place to go! P.s. there will be a small wait time. I suggest making an appointment if you cant/ dont want to wait. But I honestly they unlock the doors at 6:30 I was out by 9. And thats quick considering the people they deal with! I am so pleased and could go and on about this place. Ill go back for any other problems, for sure, worth the drive/wait times!
