I was quoted $200 by another local company to do my taxes, but that bill turned into about $600 total, so I had my wife call this place. This lady whipped out our taxes in about 1.5 hours, charged us $200, and saved us about $1000 in refunds that we wouldn't have gotten from the first company. My wife met her, and said it was very down to earth. She said Julia answered all her questions, took great care to get us the best return she could, and I am absolutely thrilled with the result. Thank you, Julia!
Edit: Not as happy this year. Julia said there is a $6000 limit on rental property improvements for tax purposes, but two tax advisors have told me this is just not true. My faith is shaken.
Edit 2: went H&R Block this year. Found out Julia did not set my rental house up on depreciation. That cost me two years worth of depreciation.
