When you arrive Don't be black, wearing a beanie, crocs, and a truck driver...at night. because they will stare at you like a hawk XD. They started staring before I even got out the truck

Pulled up around 2am to get fuel as it was the cheapest in my fuel app on this route... BAD IDEA! an employee almost broke his legs running to my truck to write down my trucks info. He stood there watching every single thing I was doing. I figured maybe he had a disability so I asked him if he was ok and does he need help with anything? He told me they "have to watch my kind" because they don't want any trouble. I asked him what he meant by that but he wouldn't answer. I asked him again, "when you say my kind do you mean black people? Or do you mean truckers"? He repeated "your kind". Only if they knew how many thousands of dollars my company spends on diesel a week. I'm an owner operator with 7 trucks. Never going back there again. There's a flying j right across the street. I went there to get my little goodies for the road instead. I've never regretted saving money on fuel so bad.
