    Do you enjoy having noisy neighbors? Do you appreciate being awoken in the middle of the night? Do you have a fondness for encountering dog waste? Are you in search of an inept property manager? Do you willingly relinquish any semblance of privacy? If so, then this is the place for you! I vacated 231 Walton Avenue six months ahead of schedule due to all these issues. Initially, I believed this would be a good place to live, given its proximity to many restaurants and downtown, among other conveniences. However, I quickly realized that the drawbacks far outweighed the advantages. Do not be deceived into thinking that noise won't be a problem. They will brazenly assert that this building was constructed and rated to mitigate noise levels of up to 110 decibels or similar claims. Regrettably, this is not the case. Even a hushed conversation can be heard in the hallways and through the walls. Do not be misled about the building's supposed tranquility. Your neighbors will stomp on your ceiling at all hours of the day and play music until the early morning hours. When you attempt to communicate with the property manager, he will feign an investigation and promise action, but he won't take any meaningful steps. They will prioritize units that generate more revenue, leaving you to continuously contend with your noise issues. Your neighbors will persistently play loud and obnoxious music, regardless of the late hours, even when the entire apartment building is attempting to sleep. Additionally, anticipate your neighbors hosting noisy parties every single Friday and Saturday, with the sound of music and conversations infiltrating your entire living space. If you continuously attempt to complain to the property manager, your neighbors will simply find alternative ways to create disturbances, leaving you powerless to address the issue. Despite possessing substantial evidence, the property manager will pretend that nothing is amiss. Furthermore, the property manager fails to maintain accurate payment records and may request payments that you have already made. I typically paid two to three months in advance. On one occasion, he contacted me, falsely claiming that I had not paid and needed to do so. After I provided him with solid proof, such as bank statements illustrating the transfer of funds to his account, it took him several hours to confirm that I had indeed paid. Moreover, the property manager openly admitted to eavesdropping on residents by pressing his ear against their doors, justifying this invasive behavior as neither illegal nor prohibited. This revelation led me to question whether he engaged in other morally questionable activities with tenants in this building, such as unauthorized entry into apartments when residents were absent, inspecting the contents of vehicles without permission, or rifling through discarded trash bags. Not to mention that during our email and text exchanges, I noticed that he lacked the ability to compose complete sentences. Truly inept. I willingly absorbed the three-month penalty and forfeited my deposit to attain peace and quiet. Living in this building has genuinely been a nightmare.
