Embassy Suites by Hilton Louisville Downtown

I love an old building that has been updated and still maintains some of the vintage feel. This suited me perfectly. The rooms are huge and well maintained. The staff was always exceptional, and the breakfast was top-notch. The happy hour was very busy, so be prepared for a wait. The only issue that I had was unresolvable, but it didn't ruin my trip. The couch in my room needed to be replaced. It was completely broken down and while, I wanted to sit there, it was terribly uncomfortable.

Asked bedding for sofa bed at 8pm and called 2 more times until midnight. Tired to wait and down to front desk. She said no pillow and sheet are available and acted like "it's not my fault!". Worst experience at Hilton.

The rooms and the food was wonderful. The only thing is that there was a hidden charge on my credit card. When I asked what charge is going to be put on my card? All they told me was the valet. All other charges were going to be put on the other card which I had booked the room through Expedia. Ive tried to get a hold of somebody at the hotel and either theyre not picking up the phone or they put me on hold and never get back to me.

Nice hotel only we could not get pillows and blankets. No joke waiting all night still nothing. Comp us than told us we had to leave after telling us when had a Free night

This was a great hotel. It was just a walk away to a lot of Louisville attractions. The amenities were wonderful. The only downside I had was that I was told there would be shuttle service at 7 a.m. and there was no shuttle available and no one really seemed to care. Kind of a big deal when you are depending on them to get to the airport to fly home.
