This is probably gonna be long.. ive gone through Jackson Hewitt for the last 8years and never had this problem but i was in shelbyville. I gave this location 2 stars only because the initial visit was pleasant but after has been a nightmare. I filed for the refund advance and opted in to use my own bank information. I was approved for the refund however after waiting the alotted 5 days for the direct deposit to come i called Jackson Hewitt they said i needed to contact US BANK who covers those transfers. I called US BANK who at first couldnt confirm anything for me because Jackson Hewitt put in my address incorrectly. I called jackson hewitt back who said they couldnt give me any information. So i looked on my online statements which they never printed out to me and found that they put my address CITY incorrectly. -how it wouldnt auto populate is beyond me - they also put in the incorrect bank and routing number for my bank account. Missing 2 digits. So i then called Jackson Hewitt back to tell them of their error and to hopefully get this fixed. They tell me i have to go to IRS and fill out some forms to fix this. I call the IRS they gladly changed my address over the phone but stated that Jackson Hewitt would have to fix the direct deposit. I told them that Jackson Hewitt said they would have to do that.. well THATS A LIE. I call Jackson Hewitt back and again they claim they dont fix it. So i called my old Jackson Hewitt and they said they do in fact have forms they use to fix the direct deposit. I then Call US BANK who confirms that there are forms that Jackson Hewitt can simply fill out and send them to fix this direct deposit issue. The US BANK rep even went as far at 3 waying a call to this Dixie location Jackson Hewitt to advise them of the form needed.. the Jackson Hewitt rep already knew who it was about and immediately told the US BANK REP just call my supervisor (who i also spoke with and knew of the situation) so the US BANK REP then called the Supervisor who when she was told what to do hung up on us! I did end up getting my check because luckily US BANK was helpful enough to correct the address so I could receive it via mail. But because of this location lack of due process i could not fix my direct deposit for federal or state return and state is a whole different jurisdiction and a whole different circle of hoops im currently going through. I suspect a federal check will be sent but im not sure when. This location needs people who know what they are doing and not just a secretary and they need people who actually care..

Older woman that works there is super rude. I was going to get my taxes done but she let me know she wont be doing anymore because she has to leave in enough time to catch the bus. It was 545 and they close at 7. Thats ok though, I went to HNR BLOCK and there was delighted to see me. I wouldnt recommend this location at all.

Had made 2 appointments and both times I went it was closed

Never schedule an appointment at this location! Myself and another person had appointments this week on 2 different days, left work early and office was closed. Nobody bothered to call to let us know.
