I don't deal with SAIA very often and that is by design. In my first real encounter with them, I was on the phone with my customer while they were present at their shop as the SAIA driver sent me a message that he tried to deliver and they weren't there. Just flat out lied. My most recent issue is that i had an order of 7 skids of product. The driver showed up right at closing and informed me that one skid was missing but, not to worry, it would be delivered the next day. After waiting until 3pm the next day with no word and no truck, I reached out to SAIA only to be informed that the skid was lost and an "investigation" was initiated. Only after I called!!! They knew the skid was missing before the order arrived in the Louisville terminal and didn't do anything about it UNTIL I CALLED! What a joke. Take a little pride in your work SAIA. I hope they follow YELLOW down that road.
