The showroom manager Kimberley gave us a quote for a Moan shower system and asked for our credit card info over the phone. Assuming it wouldnt be an issue since this seemed like a good company I gave her the info. She charged everything she quoted but then I get a random charge for almost 1K out of the blue months later. We called to get it sorted out and she claimed it was simple mistake and theyd refund me. Did not refund me even after my husband called and texted and she continued to promise that she HAD refunded the fraudulent charge. Considering we still havent gotten a refund and we had notified her of this issue on December 6th its reasonable to assume she literally just stole that money using credit card info she had from us, a client. Really mind boggling. Ive already sent a demand letter and disputed the charge with our credit card company but its just scary knowing there are people out there thatll use your credit card info that youve given them in a fiduciary capacity to then essentially steal almost 1K.
