        Well Slate creek was referred to us by our insurance company for water damage from a broken water pipe. However Slate Creek commented many times how they were not trusting of our insurance company and would not give us an estimate until they knew how much money we were getting and what repairs were recommended by the insurance company. I couldn't understand why he couldn't come out and give us an estimate. But he insisted he needed to see what the insurance company was offering first. When I question him about that he got all offended and told me to find somebody else. Seems kind of funny to me that the guy can't just come give an estimate without seeing how much the insurance company was given us or what their recommendations were. Either which way whether something needs to be fixed or not fixed. More work or less work. We still have to pay. Seems like a strange way to do business. Show me how much money is there for the taking first and then I'll decide how much to charge you. Of course maybe that's not his position, but if that was the case why wouldn't you just come give an estimate. Anyways, Happy for everybody else that seems to have good service from this company but I certainly won't be recommending them.

        Water line broke in our kitchen. Slate Creek was referrered by our insurance adjuster. They did a great job. Listened to our concerns, needs and desires, to get our home restored. Pete and the crew were professional and courteous! If the need ever arises we would use their services again! Services: Remodeling, Water damage-related cleanup & repair

        Slate Creek Contracting Services has a caring group of competent employees. It doesn't matter what time of the day or night fire, wind, or water damage happens, Slate Creek will be there ASAP to do the clean up and stabilizing.

        Slate Creek Contracting has done several different types of projects in our home, the most recent being removal of our kitchen floor tile and the concrete board underneath. They did a great job preparing, performing the work, and cleaning up afterwards. They came when they said there were coming and stayed until the work was complete. The employees are courteous and professional and conscientious about doing a good job and pleasing the homeowner. The owners are ethical, honest, and fair. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

      We are sorry you feel that way. We have not done any work for you nor have we charged you anything, so it is hard to understand how we have wronged you. You called our company on 3/7, and we came to your home on 3/8. We met with your wife and mother on a Friday evening. You were not a part of that meeting. We never said that we did not trust your adjuster. We do not know even who that is. For that reason, your mother and wife were advised to meet with the adjuster to see what would be covered before we provided services. Different insurance companies provide different coverage, and we were not familiar with your policy. We advised your mother and wife about what we thought needed to be done. It is our understanding that they used that information to work with the adjuster and that you already received payment from your insurance company based upon the help that we gave them. When you called to ask us about performing the work, we asked about the scope that was given to you. That is a fair question because we do not want to remove or demo items that would not be covered by your insurance. We do not want you to have to pay for items that the adjuster would not cover. This was the first time we had ever spoken with you about the specifics of the claim. You would not answer questions we had about your coverage and proceeded to say it was all a racket and that we were like another company you had dealt with before that scammed you. At that point, you were advised to find another contractor.
