I dropped off my mower for service back in February. When I dropped it off, I was very specific about what was going on. Specifically, that the plastic tensioner pulley for the PTO's had a chip in it which was allowing the drive belt to slip off and making the mower inoperable. I asked that ALL belts be replaced as well as any pulleys that were bad. Pretty simple I thought. I picked the mower up about a month later and went home to mow for the first time this Spring. Before I started mowing, I inspected the mower and from what I could tell everything looked fine under the mower. However, while mowing I noticed I was leaving a 2 inch swath of grass on each pass. Upon further inspection I noticed that the new blades they put on my mower were 2 inches too short. I took the blades back and they did reimburse my money, but instead of getting me the right blades, they sent me over to John Deere to pick them up myself. Now, if this had been all that happened, I could have lived with it. Unfortunately the worse was yet to come. This past Saturday I was mowing and noticed the mower was pulling sluggishly. I stopped and checked under the mower and discovered that the same old chipped pulley was still on the mower along with the old, frayed drive belt. The belt slipped off 3 times while I was mowing which was both frustrating and time consuming because I had to pull off the tensioner spring (not easy) each time in order to put the belt back on the pulley. So, to summarize, they not only gave me the wrong blades which required 2 additional trips over there, but they also failed to replace the belts and pulleys I asked them to fix, even though they charged me for both the parts and labor. You can call that what you will. It is mowing season now and I can't wait a month to get my mower back unless I want to pay $100 a week to have my yard mowed. I will have to try and fix it myself. Therefore, I would definitely not recommend this company for your repair needs under any circumstances!!!

It started maybe 4 years ago when my 20 year-old snow blower needed work. Picked up, repaired and returned the same day. I know that can't always happen. But it was enough to add that to other recommendations from co-workers about Bishop's to replace my John Deere riding mower with a Cub Cadet, simply due to the service. The transaction and trade-in two years ago went flawlessly. I was glad Michele gently upsold me too! Then today I had trouble starting my X2 and thought it was a fuel line thing. Gene and his service partner surmised it was a battery issue, had the replacement in stock and they were right. And I was right... when I chose Bishop to handle my yard equipment needs. Highly recommended. Sorry John Deere.

Just bought a riding mower here. The staff at Bishops from the sales people, finance, and delivery were top notch. They were friendly helpful and appreciative of my business. I didnt know about Bishops initially and found them after poor customer service elsewhere and Im reallly glad I wound up here!!!!!

Our experience at Bishops was nothing short of exceptional. We were shopping for a zero turn mower, and every question we could think of was answered! The employees were more than happy to walk around with us to go over all the differences in their mowers, what we would realistically need for our yard, their personal experience as well as their customers reviews, etc. as well as explaining the financing options they offer. They were even able to deliver our mower the same day! We also love that theyre a local and family run business.
