Madison County Family Court

It's child support court. What else can u say about it.

Today was my second time coming to this location because I am trying to help my friend get a divorce. When you first walk in and you have to interact with the officers at the metal detector they talk to you like you are interrupting them if they are talking to each other and they talk to you like you should actually know where you are going when you get in there...I'm sorry but isn't that their JOB to also help direct people to the right area? Then, when you get to the window you need to be at to file the divorce you have to interact with the most rude blonde (don't know her name) who acts like she is better than you and has better things to do than her JOB. She just slouches back in her chair while talking to you, won't put her cell phone down and won't answer any questions about a what forms you need to file for a divorce or anything... All she did was tell us that we needed to get a lawyer. What is the point in coming to this facility to try and file for a divorce if they won't even tell you what forms you need? We ended up having to call a different County to find out what we needed. The people at the Woodford County clerks office are so helpful and extremely polite. They went out of their way to make sure we completely understood what we needed and what needed to be done next. The employees at the Madison County location could learn a thing or two from the employees at Woodford County location.

For months me and the "ex" wife have been turning in the same forms over and over again and every time they loose them. Its gotten to the point where i refuse to deal with them any more. All they do is argue "we dont loose forms you did not turn it in." No we turned that one in three times now. "No you didnt" Lazy people who can not do a simple clerk job.
