I hands down wouldn't have wanted to get married anywhere else! Not only was SMK accommodating, friendly, welcoming but the views are absolutely stunning and facility is clean and is spacious enough for whatever you need. Sadly when I first started venue shopping in Richmond I became very discouraged because of the way I was being treated by other venues. Until I found SMK (through social media) I wasn't even excited about getting married in my hometown and was considering other options. However, when I met Shelby and Jani they made me feel like I was at home and that's what you really want out of a venue. I actually get emotional when thinking about how perfect my wedding was and I've thanked Shelby, Cam and Jani over and over again for helping make our wedding a night I will never forget!! We love our SMK family

A dream!! Outdoor ceremony area with large archway with chandelier made for amazing photos! The golden hour is breath taking with photos down the road. SMK Venue made my dream wedding a reality! The reception space with large and open and the details of the bourbon barrell bar, bridal suite, and grooms room made the day so easy! Family owned business that is so sweet, helpful, and caring! Would 10/10 recommend everyone having their wedding here!

A dream! The venue is HUGE! Biggest venue in Richmond with AC&Heat! Large bathrooms, and kitchen. I had the pleasure of helping photograph a wedding for the first time there. The owners of the venue, Shelby & Cameron spent their day sweeping, and picking up as well as setting up for the wedding. At every given time the two were doing something to help!! I am so excited we have such a venue in Richmond!!
