Element Baton Rouge South

I travel a ton - totally meets my criteria. Good bed, mini kitchen, good shower pressure, great breakfast, fun decor, pool, exercise room. Free bike use, noon check out. Clean but not overly chemical smell. Did not activate my fragrance sensitivity. Well thought out design. Love it.

The room was clean, bed was super comfortable and included everything you need for a comfortable stay away from home. The fitness room was well-maintained with working machines. The location was also convenient to everything in Baton Rouge. The evening hot tea bar was nice touch at the end of the day.

The rooms were super clean and the front desk reps were super nice. I really enjoyed the happy hour with free wine and free breakfast made to order. The bed was comfortable and the room was equipped with a microwave and fridge. The location was also quiet and safe. Ill definitely book again. @TOPRESTAURANTPICKS

Most front desk ladies here seem to always be mad or in a bad mood. Thats not what customer service is about. They ignore you when you come in to ask them a question and give you attitude. Rooms have roaches even seen them in the shower. And they are the huge Roaches by the way!!!! The breakfast which is served to order and have grab and go as well. Gym is ok 2 out of 3 treadmills dont work. Laundry is free and they give you the detergent pods. Free water filters at each room and kitchenettes. Stayed about a month or so.

Let me start with weve stayed at the Element in BR 4-5 times since its opened. It started off good but has gone downhill in the years since. Our last stay this past weekend was awful. First issue is when we checked in, we were given two queen beds although we reserved a king over a month prior. We found two dead roaches in the room. One was right inside the entryway and the second was underneath a chair I moved to make space. The biggest issue is that we had a room on the first floor facing the parking lot and the black out curtain didnt work and we had our 18 month old with us. The staff at the front said they would move us to a different room the next day once one opened up but no one ever called us about moving as promised. Overall, were going to be trying a new hotel moving forward.
