McDonald's

Slow. Like 45 minutes for an order of fries slow. Unless you live in Jena, it's not worth it to stop. If you just gotta have McDonald's and are just passing through, you can honestly pass up Jena McDonald's and go to Alexandria McDonald's (40 miles away) or Columbia McDonald's (40 miles away) and be eating your food faster; especially at night and I'm not exaggerating. Also, I don't know if they are eating my fries while making the rest of my order or what but I've never gotten a full order of large fries. For real, though, check your fries before you leave.

update: since this mcdonalds is such an awful place and bad service s and the worst mcdonalds i've ever went and i remember that lady spits the cookies and i am never coming back ever again. if you want better mcdonalds go to neither carencro or houma!. and besides i hate this mcdonalds. and it needs to be shutdown. oh and even the black lady was rude 2 years ago everytime to get a right order. 1 stars is given is because is the worst place for 2 reason 1 lady spits the cookie 2 lady was rude after for the right order of spicy chicken sandwich.

Went yesterday to order an iced coffee. Line was moving fairly quick at first and when we got to the window to get the drink they made us wait 20 minutes and then proceeded to try to hand us food when all we ordered was a drink. Then we were told to drive into a waiting area so we did which was absolutely ridiculous for a drink. Then we had to wait another 10 minutes and while we were waiting they made ANOTHER person move into a waiting area for 1 DRINK. I should not be waiting at at McDonalds AT THE WINDOW For 30 minutes on ONE DRINK. I understand they may have been busy but they were getting everyones orders behind us in that time they could have made my drink l

I visited this place while driving cross-country on Oct. 7, 2021. I pulled up to the drive through in a great mood and asked for an iced coffee with no sugar and a small amount cream. When I went to the window to pay, I tried to talk to the girl and she wouldn't look at me or speak to me. The same happened at the window where I received my order. I got my drink, which was almost white - that should have been my first clue. I left, and a few miles down the road tasted my drink. IT WAS DISGUSTING. It tasted like chemicals and nearly a cup of sugar had been added. The texture of the drink was slightly thick and slippery - as though someone had SPIT in it. I couldn't drink another sip and was actually worried that they had given me something toxic while I was driving across the country alone with my toddler. Will NEVER visit this McD or any other again.
