My care was excellent! I felt very comfortable with my hygienist. I didn't experience any pain. Dr. Hayes was very welcoming and knowledgeable.

Ive stopped going here after unnecessary work was done (special X-rays) that insurance only covers once every 5 years. I wasnt having any problems, had no changes between visits, etc. But hygienist left room to go see what services she could perform. Came back and I got xrays and cleaning. Received a bill which made no sense so when I called i was told that special X-rayswere done and that I should argue with my insurance company as they substituted a code for the X-rays (she even referenced how Walmart exchanges/substitutes items) (I didnt know Walmart does this!). Made no sense and Im not willing to argue with my insurance. Calcasieu Dental wanted to make some extra money and they did. My money.

Wont be doing business here. Showed up to my first appointment only to find out it was canceled due to not having a doctor available the lady who let me in the office was super sweet and apologized. It was no biggie and i wasnt upset just wanted to get rescheduled.I was still receiving text messages confirming me and my husband appointment. So that was confusing but no biggie. As I wait to get another appointment for us... one lady on the phone was super agitated due to the customer on the phone. Slams the phone and proceeds to say some ugly things (not my business I don't care) then she looks over to me and the "nice" lady helping me and says what's the problem? She tells her my appointment was canceled and I was still getting confirmation messages. The rude lady turns to me and says " I've called you several time and even my managers reached out to you several times and we've even texted you" I said the only text I have is appointment confirmations. She says well you might have been one of them I personally sent a text message for but me and my manager has reached out to you and your husband several times as she's repeatedly cutting me off when I am trying to explain all my text messages say my appointment is still for today and I only had one missed call from them. Then got a message to remind me of my appointment. My husband as well. So I assumed they called to state the same thing the text said. Mind you I'm not rude. I'm not upset. I'm not yelling. I'm absolutely fine with being rescheduled so why is she being so aggressive and rude? Then she proceeds to say well yeah we tried to call you several times. Even tho she was incorrect she was so arrogant I couldn't get a word in. I let her finish and then she says we'll I can TRY to get you rescheduled. I said I'm good no thanks. I walked out. There is plenty of dentist in Lake Charles. We just moved here and we chose you after going through a significant amount of consideration. We CHOSE you. I now see how you do business and I am thankful it didn't work out. I would rather drive 2 hours back home to go to my previous dentist than give your office any of our money. Sometimes we have bad days but that doesn't justify you being that way. OH AND DID I MENTION THIS IS MY SECOND APPT BECAUSE THEY HAD TO RESCHUDLE MY FIRST ONE FOR THE SAME RESON AND I WAS STILL SUPER CHILL ABOUT IT? Also had no issues reaching me the first time either.
