Tru by Hilton Lake Charles

Hilton is a great chain but why was TRU hilton invented, I will never know. The hotel is vibrant with beautiful colors but small. The room reminds me of a tiny house with no kitchen or closet. There is a rack above the fridge to hang your clothes which doesn't make sense.The bed was ok and the bathroom was a nice size, loved the lemon sugar body wash/lotion.There's a small fridge but why can't you guys add a microwave. There is a microwave in the lobby tucked underneath a counter, also small. Breakfast was served but I didn't choose to eat it, typical continental plus breakfast, instead of waffles, there was a pancake machine and grits. The front desk ladies were really nice and welcoming. Lobby was really nice, foolsball tables and comfortable seating..REALLY, THIS HOTEL DOESN'T NEED TO EXIST. WE'RE OK WITH THE OTHER HILTON HOTELS. NO I WILL NOT RETURN! Rooms: Small rooms, no closet, coffee maker or microwave Noteworthy details: Don't expect too much

Awful "bougie" place for rooms to not have microwave or coffee maker. Free breakfast is real good.

Simple small rooms but large lobby area and convenient access. Efficient for business travel but wouldnt recommend for families

So much for Hilton Diamond. They wouldn't give me my digital keys until you go in and swipe. I was so annoyed I was ready to walk out. Somehow they can't finish checking in until you swipe, but can't cancel you either? I missed this was a college dorm room at premium prices. Never at Tru again. Kudos to the front desk clerk, she has skills, she should be in charge, cause the manager isn't cutting it. Update: they jacked up check out this morning as well.

Ive been traveling for business for a while and decided to stay at a Hilton for the first time. This was the most disappointing hotel by far. My room was not properly cleaned. No coffee pots in room but you have access to some cold/stale coffee in the lobby. No microwave in the room as well. Also in the lobby. Sylvia Front Desk was least accommodating and made up her mind that nothing could be done to meet my needs for business travel.
